How to find details
Go to www.brisbane.qld.gov.au, click on the 'About Council' tab and select the 'Lord Mayor and Councillors' page. From this page there are links to all the wards including the Moorooka ward For committee details, the 'Committees, meetings and minutes' page can be found under the 'About Council' tab. The 'Council committees' link on this page will provide you with information on each of the committees including members. Go to www.parliament.qld.gov.au, click on the 'Members' tab at the top of the page. From here you can click on the link for 'Current Members' and finally click the link 'Member List'. This page lists all of the state members and the district they represent. Committee details can be found on the 'Committees' page located under the 'Work of Committees' tab. A list of committees is presented here with links to more information including members. Go to www.aph.gov.au, from the 'Senators & Members' tab you can click the link for the 'Members' page. This page provides a link to view the pages for each of the members and the electorate they represent. Founded in 1954 by Australian Fellows of the Royal Society of London, the Austrian Academy of Science's overall aim is the promotion of science. Their main program areas (listed below) reflect this goal. Communication with government on issues of science is an important role of the Academy and the the president is part of the Prime Ministers council.

The role of Australia's Chief Scientists is closely associated with government and policy. The Chief Scientist for Australia provides high-level independent advice to the Prime Minister and other Ministers on matters relating to science, technology and innovation. Professor Ian Chubb is the current holder of this position.
Queensland Chief Scientist - chiefscientist.qld.gov.au
Like the Chief Scientist for Australia the Queensland Chief Scientist plays an important role in advising the state government on all matters of science, innovation and technology. The holder of the position also acts as an ambassador for Queensland science, fostering cooperation and collaboration amongst the government, research, industry and community sectors. Dr Geoff Garrett currently hold the position in Queensland.

Science and Technology Australia is an organisation that represent scientists and technologists including policy issues to government, industry and the community. The organisation has 3 formal goals which reflect the views of the individual members and member organisations.
